*String Art*
Our class did string art for weaving as our art topic this term. First we did some simple ones like a star or a love heart which didn't have any instructions so we could just do anything on it and when we were finished we put a line around the edge of it with the wool. Then we moved onto a bit harder ones that had instructions to follow. We could do a silver fern, an ice cream or a butterfly, like you can see in our pictures of them. It was a bit confusing but very fun! After a bit of work we put velcro dots on the backs of them and stuck them on our classroom wall. Come and see them!!!

Fizz-Tastic!!
On Friday we did a science experiment. We put baking soda and citric acid into a tissue and put this into a plastic bag. This was to delay the reaction. Next we added water. It started to foam up and the bag puffed up. When the water was added to the baking soda and citric acid, it caused a chemical reaction that produced a gas called carbon dioxide. This chemical reaction made the bag go really cold!! Billie and Ava
